Henle Village Abuzz over Rumors of New Neighborhood Applebee’s

HENLE VILLAGE.

Sources confirmed that while cheering on the boys at the big game this weekend, Henle residents were abuzz over rumors that the Village Council had approved construction on a new Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar. “Boy, it’s been a long time since we’ve had a new restaurant open here. But let’s just say I’ve got a close friend on the Commerce Board and things are looking quite appetizing.” said Henle 93 resident, Scott Bingham (COL ‘19) with a wink, adding that he hoped the eatery would be a nice, American-owned, child-friendly place where he could really get to know the waitstaff. “The one thing I am concerned about is drunk drivers. The last thing this town needs is some knucklehead going to down to Applebee’s, having a few too many Bahama Mamas and getting behind the wheel of a car. I’m really going to be looking to the Henle police department to come down strongly on this one.” At press time, sources reported that  local residents were putting together a nice fruit basket on behalf of the village to welcome the new restaurant owners.
