Georgetown Jesuits have reaffirmed their reputation as revolutionaries through their unique policy of not molesting students. Georgetown University priests are breaking the mold that defines Catholic priests throughout the world by not molesting people.

“Virtually all Catholic priests follow a strict molestation regimen,” said Fr. Bruno Kirby, S.J. “But, here at Georgetown, my fellow Jesuits and I are really breaking down barriers by refraining from molesting students,” he said.

University administrators are similarly pleased with Georgetown Jesuits’ unique non-molestation policy.

President Jack DeGioia said, “I applaud the priests of Georgetown University for their distinctive history of non-molestation…frankly, this is the only group of Catholic priests in America that doesn’t molest people. The Georgetown community should feel extremely lucky.”
