Overcoming the Odds, Hoyas from Right Side of the Tracks Wed
GRACE CHURCH–Defying the whims of their parents and rejecting the social norms of their respective polo clubs, Jonathon Nillham (MSB ’08) and Morgan Jacobs (MSB ‘08) wed early Saturday morning in a tastefully ostentatious mid-size ceremony that brought together the often politely contentious worlds of old and slightly older money. The newlyweds first met as freshman at Georgetown where they shocked family and friends by quickly developing an unlikely romance. “No one ever thought this could happen at this particular Episcopalian denomination,” said wedding guest and fellow Hoya Charles Taft (MSB ’07). “It’s truly a testament to love’s power to bridge even the most minor differences of extreme privilege.”
