Acquaintances Enter Into Like Exchange Accord

By

Riggs Library — Amid much fanfare and celebration sophomores Ana Kinsley (NHS ’17) and Morgan Everdeen (SFS ’17) formally signed a like exchange agreement on Tuesday in Riggs Library.

At a joint press conference following the signing, Kinsley and Everdeen stressed the significance of the event in “exponentially boosting social media image” for both parties.

Under the terms of the preliminary agreement Kinsley and Everdeen agreed to “like” all profile pictures, heavily instagrammed photos and meaningful statuses posted by the other party.

Several times throughout the press conference both parties described the agreement as pivotal for the “free flow of likes across social media.”

Kinsley and Everdeen only recently met three weeks ago but, according to sources, “really hit it off.”

Despite the recent origins of the friendship, the agreement lasts for two years with a mutual opt-in clause for a third year.

If either party fails to live up to the terms of the agreement, the accord for provides for the automatic cessation of the steady stream of likes.

“We believe this agreement will benefit us significantly,” said Kinsley to assembled media members. “We felt that the others with whom we had like agreements were too monolithic.” Kinsley’s 22 other like exchange agreements are almost all with members of Blue & Gray and her Aunt Gene while Everdeen’s 17 like exchange agreements are almost all with club field hockey members.

“Diversity is critical in a well-liked post,” said Everdeen.
