Bernie Sanders Rally in Los Angeles

NEW YORK CITY – Presidential Hopeful Bernie Sanders was seen early yesterday morning taking an eight-pound sledgehammer to the south corner of the 14 Wall Street Building. After vigorously attempting to compromise the building using only his own two bloodied hands, police escorted him away from area.

Onlookers described Sanders as being bright red in the face, sweaty, and loudly screaming about ivory towers and social responsibility at the people inside, who bystanders doubted could even hear him.

“I’ve seen politicians get worked up before, but never like this,” stated one witness, Michael Rigallio, “Bernie was shouting that he had had enough working within the system. He just looked so small and angry. I couldn’t tell if he wanted institutional reform or a hug.”

This blatant and purposeful attack on the famous building commerce is the latest feat by the Vermont senator, whose campaign is targeted towards tearing down the current corrupt system.

Sanders was reportedly escorted out of the Capitol the previous afternoon for throwing office computers out of the windows. The thoroughly worked-up senator was stopped only after security talked him down from his fit of rage by having him calmly voice his frustrations with the supposed “rampant abuses of an absurd capitalistic system.”

Sanders’ office-secretary reported that this behavior is common for the 70-year-old self-proclaimed democratic socialist.

“Mr. Sanders works hard to fight against the oppression of our current system through legislation and diplomacy, but sometimes it really just gets to him. All of his staff go through anger management training, and our office is equipped with both a comfort room and pepper spray under each desk,” explained his secretary Mary Ringelmeier.

Sanders’ press secretary, activist Symone Sanders, reassured the press that the Senator had cooled off after a relaxing session of detox yoga.
