THE HEAVENS – Hunter Estes and Richard Howell. Honorable Catholics, Knights of Columbus: I, Jesus Christ, the Son of Man, King of Kings, thank you for your service in the name of the Lord. Your faith in me shall be rewarded at the end of times.

But the GUSA Executive is not for you, my children.

GUSA is a sinful place, full of ego and bureaucracy, and it must be purged and rebuilt in accordance with the holy tenets of our Lord. But this is my cross to bear, not yours.

Your time here has been enriched by valiant efforts to bring God and his ideals back to Georgetown’s campus. I feel I must remind you that your work is nearly finished: the Son of God himself is returning to run for high office. Why continue to run against me and undo all your hard work?

To quote myself, “Take heed that no [ticket with Hunter and Richard on it] deceive you. For many shall come in my name, saying, I am [fit to be GUSA President instead of Jesus Christ]; and shall deceive many” (Matthew 24:4-5).

On the seventh day I rested. Now it is your turn – rest, reflect, and know that the Lord is with you even when he runs against you.
