Sara and Ryan Meet and Greet Ends Early as Ryan Short Circuits

By

HDSC_0150FSC – A scheduled “Meet and Great” in HFSC for GUSA  Executive candidates Sara Margolis and Ryan Shymansky came to an abrupt ending when a participant accidentally spilled coffee on Shymansky, causing his circuitry to malfunction.

Shymansky, whose good looks and smooth demeanor have long been suspected of stemming from him being at least partially robotic, appeared to be stuck in an infinite loop of campaign sound bites.

“Great to meet you! Remember to vote,” repeated Shymansky between 25 and 30 times before campaign staff realized there was a problem.

“I would’ve seen that something was wrong if I wasn’t caught in his metallically sharp yet warm stare,” said eye-witness and Sara-Ryan staffer Kathy Cohan (COL, ’18).

Margolis, realizing the problem, exclaimed, “Not again!” before rushing to her running mate and opening the back of his head.  A series of clicking noises and a start-up tone were heard before Shymansky re-animated.”

“Please set to campaign mode,” he said, before  continuing to shake hands and joke around with potential voters.

The problem was resolved, as one staffer suggested, as “unplugging it and plugging it back in again”.
