7-ELEVEN – Emphasizing a significant improvement in food quality and more accommodating hours of operation, Georgetown Associate Vice President for Auxiliary Business Services Joelle Wiese announced Thursday that a new five-year dining contract has been awarded to a P St. 7-Eleven taquito rotisserie. “We listened to what the students wanted, and we delivered,” said Wiese before placing her mouth directly on the nozzle of a Slurpee dispenser. “We have a greater variety of cuisine now than ever before. Students can select from taquito flavors including Monterey Jack Chicken, Turkey Cheese, Arabian Spice, Taquito Con Meato, and Sour. Plus, it’s a finger food, so no utensils. This is a big day for dining.” Wiese added that, while the university considered awarding the dining contract to that glass case at Eat and Joy that keeps pizza warm, the constant spinning of the taquito rotisserie’s plastic cylinders eventually won by lulling her into a warm, hypnotic contractual agreement.
