SELLINGER LOUNGE – Upon hearing that two Georgetown alumni, comedians Nick Kroll and John Mulaney, are visiting campus, junior Zachary Hearthsworth (SFS ’17) noted that he is excited to learn who his favorite comedians should have been this whole time.

“I love what they’ve done, and how they have really incorporated our mutually-shared Georgetown experience into their work,” said Hearthsworth, while busily looking for any scraps of information about the two comedians online.

Hearthsworth plans to line up at 6:30 AM on Tuesday to catch a glimpse of his “new-found comedy idols”. The excited international politics major went as far as to queue Mulaney’s stand-up special on Netflix, right behind three seasons of House of Cards, another “Georgetown Classic.”

“To be honest, I don’t really get their sense of humor,” explained Hearthsworth, “and I’ve never seen them do comedy. But if I can tell people they went to my school, then, Nick and John, say ‘Hello’ to your new biggest fan!”

Hearthsworth was later seen hastily changing his Facebook information to show that his favorite film-producer is in fact the 1970 School of Foreign Service alumnus, Tarak Ben Ammar, before quickly reading summaries of his films on IMDB.
