Sad? Font On Healy Lawn Memorial Too Small To Know

By

HEALY LAWN – While most agree that those little memorials on Healy lawn are probably related to some sort of tragedy or cause, students admitted that the sign was just a little too far from the path to actually read it. Most students have agreed that they feel generally sad when they glance at it, but admit that they cannot verify for sure if there is anything to be sad about at all.

Sophomore Carl Levine (COL ‘21) lent his support explaining, “I think it’s super important what they’re doing out here, bringing an issue to the attention of the entire student body,” referencing the little shrines central location on most student’s daily commute. “When it comes down to it, seeing a physical representation is a really powerful way to force us to face a difficult topic and I’m sure those little flags represent something terrible. I just can’t tell what it is from over here. Maybe if they had used Bold.”

Junior Katherine Malinsky (SFS ‘20), echoing the sentiments of hundreds of students who glanced at the small construction on their way to class each day, gave a similar response. “Look, while knowing the exact cause would be great- the world is never going to give you all the answers. Sometimes all you can ask for is knowing that these people are on our minds, and in our hearts,” she confidently told reporters as she gave a final grave nod to the safety flags maintenance had placed around the new pipe location.

At press time, The Heckler cannot either confirm or deny these allegations as we really couldn’t get the whole gist of the memorial thing as we passed by on our way to class.
