Tall Kid From Middle School Now Just Average Height

By

“I was the most dominant center my middle school basketball league had even seen,” bragged former tall kid, Roy Hiddleson (SFS ‘21). Hiddleson now plays backup for a Georgetown intramural team. There are several examples of young players who were short, developed great ball handling, and then became exceptionally tall. See Kevin Durant or Anthony Davis. Hiddleson, on the other hand, took the opposite path. All of his genetic prowess was concentrated between the ages 12 and 14. “I mean 5’ 10’’ is a very respectable height. Right?” said Hiddleston, looking up at the massive Heckler interviewer who towers at a strong 5’ 11.5’’ Moving forward, Hiddleson and all the other early peakers like him are holding out for the second coming of puberty. “I didn’t peak! It was just a plateau!” he insisted. Here at The Heckler, we just can’t wait to see how big you’ll get!
