5 Ways to Cook Your Easter Eggs Before Hiding Them This Year

By

Jesus may have risen from the dead, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to rise in the morning! Along with your cup of joe, you need a good breakfast to get yourself ready for your yearly dose of mass and all of the festivities to follow. To take some of the pressure off, we’ve come up with the perfect ways to cook your eggs to give some variety to your little ones’ egg hunt this year. Here are five ways for you to cook your Easter eggs before hiding them this year:

  1. Hard Boiled. An Easter classic. This is the only day of the year when it’s acceptable to eat hard-boiled eggs in public. So, take advantage of that and boil your eggs this year.
  2. Scrambled. If you don’t have a lot of time to throw your eggs together, just throw your eggs in a pan! We like ours with a little cheese but understand if you like to keep things simple.
  3. Poached. Feeling adventurous? Try poaching your Easter eggs this season! This soft, custardy variety is a crowd pleaser and a personal favorite of ours.
  4. Deviled. It may be Easter, but Jesus will forgive you for making these bad boys, as long as you save him a few! Loaded with mayo and paprika, deviled eggs will make the most special surprise on the egg hunt.
  5. Raw. If you don’t have a lot of time to throw together your eggs, we’re sure that everyone will appreciate the effort of a yolk tumbling out of a plastic shell. It’s a day of rest, so take the stress out of it by going for this option.

No matter how you choose to cook your Easter eggs this year, make sure to hide them well. We want to make the kids work for these.
